The Company:
A well- established organisation is searching for a Fund Accountant to join their team. This role will be working as part of An established team and will be on a 9 month contract role with a strong potential to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the month-end close for fund entities, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, tax and cashflow reporting.
* Prepare and review fund NAVs, unit pricing, consolidations, and equity-accounted investments.
* Manage accounting for investments, foreign currency, debt, interest, hedging and covenant reporting.
* Support audits, tax compliance, GST lodgments, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* Drive process improvements, support finance projects and systems, and meet key reporting deadlines.
About You
* Preferably CA or CPA qualified
* Need 3-5 total years' experience within a similar role and an interest in hospitality. Real estate or private equity and fund management.
* Great verbal and written communication skills
