The Company
This organisation sits in that rare sweet spot, big enough to offer complexity and growth, small enough that your work actually lands. They are scaling, modernising and led by a CFO who is not just technically exceptional but genuinely inspiring. Someone who backs their people, teaches them and creates the kind of confidence that changes careers.
Finance here is not a back office cost centre, it is a strategic engine room plugged into operations, decisions and the future direction of the business. With a grounded leadership team, a tight culture and plenty of momentum, this is the perfect place for a Finance Manager ready to move from very competent to genuinely influential.
The Role
This is your step up. Finance Manager. Second in charge to the CFO. Leading a small, capable team and taking ownership of the finance function. You will run month end, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, controls and continuous improvement. You will support operations, guide decision making and help drive the uplift of finance as the business grows. You will also mentor junior team members, tighten processes, improve systems and become the CFO's right hand.
This is not a lightweight Finance Manager role. This is the one where people realise what they are actually capable of.
About You
You have done your time as a Management Accountant or Financial Accountant or within Public Practice and you want your next move to mean something. You want more responsibility, more leadership, more strategic exposure and a chance to help shape a function.
You communicate well, build trust quickly and stay calm when things get busy. You like improving systems and processes, not just maintaining them. Most importantly, you are ready. You have that next step energy.
