The Internal Operations Manager is an operational leadership role responsible for overseeing Team Leaders and clinicians to deliver exceptional care outcomes within a self-managed care model. By collaborating with other leadership team members, this role ensures high-quality outcomes for care recipients by fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and wellbeing.
The Manager is accountable for compliance with aged care legislation and aligning team performance with organisational priorities. By prioritising continuous improvement, safety, care excellence and empowerment, this role supports exceptional care delivery and champions Trilogy Care’s commitment to inclusivity for all employees.
What You'll Do
* Lead and mentor Team Leaders and Clinicians to deliver high-quality, person-centred care aligned with organisational goals
* Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture while overseeing staff performance, wellbeing, and development
* Ensure operational and clinical excellence by resolving escalations, managing risks, and supporting care delivery standards
* Oversee service coordination, provider relationships, and complex care decisions including model of care and budget concerns
* Ensure compliance with aged care legislation, quality standards, and WHS protocols, including expert support in incident management
* Use data to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and refine care policies and processes
* Contribute to strategic planning, build strong stakeholder relationships, and lead change initiatives across the organisation

* Support the growth and development of Team Leaders and Clinicians through effective mentoring
* Ensure full compliance with aged care legislation, regulatory standards, and internal policies

* Resolve complex issues promptly, manage risks proactively, and embed continuous learning from incidents
* Build strong relationships and earn positive feedback from internal and external stakeholders
What You'll Bring
* Whilst not mandatory a tertiary qualification in healthcare is preferred and where required, a current, unrestricted AHPRA registration with the relevant governing Board or equivalent.
* Minimum 4 years of leadership experience in human services or a related field, with a strong record in team development
* Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire teams in a complex, client-focused environment
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strength in coaching, feedback, and conflict resolution
* Advanced problem-solving and decision-making skills using data-driven insights
* Strong written communication skills, adaptable for diverse audiences
* Deep understanding of aged care legislation, funding models, and compliance standards
* Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance and drive continuous improvement
* Capability to translate organisational strategy into effective operational outcomes
