About the role
The Project Officer supports the planning and delivery of engagement strategies and project plans for the Regional, Rural, Remote and Unique Settings Directorate (RRRUSD).

About you
We are seeking experienced professionals with:
- Experience supporting or managing end-to-end project delivery, particularly within a government or complex organisation environment
- Demonstrated experience in project management and/pr business system improvement
- Sound experience in the development and management of engagement and communications initiatives
- Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
- Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role
- Applicants must understand Regional, Rural and Remote settings
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management or a related field and/or demonstrated equivalent experience
- Current Drivers Licence
- Ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances.
