Right now, we're on the search for a driven and inspiring Sales leader to take on our **Cat Rental - Sales Manager **position within our Cat Rental operation. This is a permanent full-time position based out of either **Laverton or Dandenong**, with regular time spent in our four branches (including Geelong and Hobart).
**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to our Cat Rental - Business Manager, you will be responsible for the development and support of our key customers and our hard working Cat Rental Sales Team.
Your key focus will be to assist, coach, develop and mentor the sales team, to ensure we manage and grow revenue by working with our portfolio of Tier One Civil Construction customers and delivering a differentiated offering that adds value to their organisations.
You will represent William Adams and drive engagement at a corporate and site level, on iconic civil construction projects throughout Tasmania and the Melbourne Metropolitan area.
**Your key responsibilities in this role will include**:
- Lead, coach and develop your sales team (4 direct reports)
- Drive and support marketing initiatives to achieve budgeted revenue targets
- Develop strong relationships with key decision makers at all levels
- Grow and develop both Caterpillar and general construction plant rental to achieve revenue and utilisation targets
- Ensure all CRM activities are captured, and call plans are executed in a timely manner
- Be actively engaged in and represent Cat Rental within industry associations and events
**ABOUT YOU**
You are a passionate sales leader, preferably with experience in the rental industry, who is ready to take on this pivotal position within our growing team.
**You will ideally have the following skills, experience, and attributes**:
- Integrity, leadership, and professionalism
- The ability to develop long term internal and external relationships
- Strong project and commercial management skills
- Superior people leadership and communication skills
- Be results focused, persistent and determined
- Have excellent computer literacy and CRM experience
- Excellent organisational skills and the capacity to handle several tasks simultaneously
- Sales Training - Formal Certificate or alike, preferred though not essential
