**About the Role**
As our new Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental compliance of our operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and support our teams in driving successful HSE and Quality (HSEQ) outcomes, fostering a culture of safety, and promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities Include:_
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to Facilities Management (FM) Operational Contracts and Teams for enhanced HSE understanding
- Developing and executing FM HSE Tactical Plans aligned with Business Unit strategy, collaborating with HSE Business Partners and Contract Managers
- Leading HSE projects and practices to mitigate operational risks and drive continuous improvement
- Ensuring compliance with HSEQ reporting and audit requirements, maintaining integrated management systems
- Facilitating ongoing certification to required Australian and International Standards (ISO45001, ISO14001, ISO9001), providing guidance and support as needed
- Cultivating HSE advocates across FM contracts, championing strategy principles organisation-wide
- Coaching and developing a diverse team of HSE Business Partners to uphold excellence and service delivery
**About You**
- Demonstrated safety leadership and industry experience within FM or similar
- Prior experience with developing and delivering OH&S training programs
- Layered assurance programs; and detailed knowledge of ISO certifications 9001, 14001 and 45001
- Proven track record in managing and delivering multiple projects/initiatives concurrently
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong presentation abilities
- This is a position of trust and responsibility and to support this we will conduct a thorough probity assessment, which includes a Federal police check as an essential selection component for this role._
