Calling all Physiotherapists who are passionate about helping children with disabilities and developmental delay achieve their best.
We're looking for a dynamic clinician to join our interdisciplinary team, providing person-centred, family-focused services that truly change lives.
About the Role:
In this rewarding position, you'll deliver physiotherapy assessment, intervention and evaluation to support the development of functional movement and participation in everyday life.
You'll work across our onsite centre, community settings and hydrotherapy programs, collaborating closely with families, carers, educators and allied health colleagues to provide holistic, integrated care.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a paediatric clinical caseload in line with service guidelines and agency requirements.
Provide physiotherapy assessment and intervention at our centre, in community and at hydrotherapy environments.
Achieve positive client outcomes through collaborative planning with families, carers and interdisciplinary team members.
Prescribe mobility, postural and therapeutic equipment to support functional goals.
Deliver and contribute to skill-based group programs.
Offer information, education and support to parents, professionals and others involved in client care.
Maintain accurate client documentation using the Client Management System and other organisational tools.
Meet KPIs while contributing to continuous improvement and process development.
Stay up to date with current physiotherapy practices and contribute to a positive team culture.
Provide Physiotherapy assessments and support to a minimal number of adult clients, when needed
Other duties as required by Team Leader or Program Manager.
Desired Skills and Experience
Essential Skills and Attributes:
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) and AHPRA general registration (Tasmania).
Ability to manage a varied caseload and meet service delivery timeframes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach.
Understanding of family-centred practice.
Commitment to our organisation's philosophy and mission.
Ability to travel for client and team needs.
Experience providing physiotherapy to children.
Understanding of the NDIS funding model.
Required Compliance Documents
? National Police Clearance
? Working with Vulnerable People Check ( NDIS endorsed)
