With multiple roles available, this is a rare opportunity for experienced Architects who thrive on detail and enjoy transforming complex designs into accurate, buildable, and technically precise documentation. COX Architecture delivers highly awarded projects across education, health, commercial, workplace, public realm, sports & recreation, and premium multi-residential sectors. With a strong pipeline of significant South Australian and national projects, you will join a team shaping architecture at the highest level.
You will be part of a studio culture celebrated for authenticity, collaboration, and design excellence - a place where your technical expertise, construction knowledge, and eye for detail can directly influence major projects.
The Role
Ideally suited to Architects with technical experience in commercial project design development and documentation in base building and or façade detailing. You will work across all stages of documentation, ensuring design intent is executed accurately on site.
You will:
* Lead and coordinate base building and / or façade documentation packages from design development through to construction.
* Collaborate closely with Directors, senior leadership, and multidisciplinary teams in a highly collaborative studio environment.
* Translate conceptual designs into technically sound, buildable solutions that uphold COX's high design standards.
* Liaise with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure constructability, compliance, and quality.
* Review drawings, schedules, and specifications to maintain consistency and design intent.
* Contribute to design development by providing technical guidance and practical solutions.
Like Mind
You are an experienced Architect with:
* 7-10+ years' experience on large-scale projects.
* Proven expertise in base building and or façade documentation, design detailing and documentation.
* Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
* Proficiency in Revit
* Experience coordinating with consultants, suppliers, and project teams.
* Excellent attention to detail and a passion for turning designs into tangible, high-quality outcomes.
* Registration as an Architect is preferred but not essential.
