The Role
We are seeking an experienced Pastrycook to join our team on a full-time basis.
The
successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation and production of a wide range of
pastries, cakes, and desserts, maintaining the highest standards of presentation and taste.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, bake, and decorate a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts in line with house
standards.
Manage daily production schedules to ensure supply meets customer demand.
Oversee the quality of ingredients and finished products, ensuring freshness and
consistency.
Develop and trial new pastry items to expand the menu offering.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment in compliance with food safety and
hygiene standards.
Operate and maintain specialised pastry equipment.
Train and mentor junior staff to uphold consistency and quality.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service and delivery of products.
Requirements
• Minimum Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in a professional patisserie or bakery environment.
• Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and traditional French methods.
• High attention to detail with creative presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
