We're partnering with a leading global resources organisation to engage 2 experienced Master Data Specialists to support critical legacy master data activities across Vendor Master and Material Master domains.
These roles will support high-priority procurement master data activities across SAP / ERP environments, with a focus on data cleansing, data quality, standardisation, bulk uploads, catalogue/vendor data maintenance, and Purchase to Pay optimisation.
* 1 x Material Master Data Management Specialist
* Work across high-impact Vendor Master and Material Master domains
* Support SAP / ERP optimisation and Purchase to Pay process improvement
* Contribute to data quality, governance, standards, cleansing, and business readiness
* Engage with procurement, master data, IS&T, commercial, site, and business stakeholders
* 6‐month assignment with the opportunity to make an immediate operational impact
* Support master data cleansing, standardisation, validation, and quality improvement activities
* Work with SAP / SAP ECC, Excel, and relevant master data tools to collect, analyse, and update data
* Create and manage data files for procurement‐related updates and bulk uploads
* Support ERP optimisation and data conversion activities across procurement master data
* Identify data discrepancies and help bring vendor or material records up to required standards
* Work on project plans, milestones, aggressive deadlines, and agreed data quality outcomes
* Engage with procurement, commercial, IS&T, master data, site, and business teams
* Support issue resolution, process improvement, documentation, templates, and reporting
* Strong SAP / SAP ECC navigation and data capture experience
* Advanced Excel capability, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and data manipulation
* Experience in master data, data stewardship, procurement data, vendor data, or material data
* Strong understanding of data quality, data cleansing, validation, standardisation, and bulk uploads
* Ability to process high volumes of data accurately and efficiently
* Experience working in procurement, purchasing, P2P, ERP, or shared services environments
* Strong attention to detail, planning, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines
* Experience with vendor master data, supplier data, procurement data, or P2P supplier records
* Understanding of vendor data quality, payment details, banking data, and international banking standards
* Exposure to supplier onboarding, vendor maintenance, SAP vendor master, or procurement operations
Material Master Data Management Specialist
* Experience with material master data, inventory data, catalogue data, or materials management
* Understanding of material standards, specifications, catalogue maintenance, and data standardisation
* Experience in mining, resources, heavy industry, plant/equipment, or operating site environments is highly regarded
* Exposure to Sphera SparesFinder, Syniti KSP, or similar third‐party master data tools
* Mining, resources, utilities, manufacturing, oil & gas, or heavy industry background
* APICS, materials management, cataloguing, Auslang, or NATA certification is highly regarded for the Material role
* Experience supporting data standards, templates, training material, reporting, or governance artefacts
