ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne - Resource Unit, are seeking experienced perioperative staff to join our casual nurse bank.
Perioperative Registered Scrub Scouts Nurses wanted
We are actively recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) to join our growing team and make a positive impact on the health of our communities and provide exceptional care to all our patients. We are nearing completion of our Fitzroy campus redevelopment which includes new state of the art operating theatres, ICU, maternity services and wards.
If your Scrub Scout expertise lies in any of the following areas, we have the opportunity for you to thrive in:
- Orthopaedic
- Neurosurgery
- Cardio-thoracic
- Colorectal- UGIS
- Plastics
- Ophthalmology/ Vitro Retinal
- Oral/Facial maxillary surgeries
The teams across our campuses are very supportive, and you'll enjoy the variety from the procedures that are performed here.
ABOUT YOU:
- Minimum 2 years' Registered Nursing experience within a peri-operative environment is required
- Minimum 12 months experience dedicated to a specialty scrub scout area is required
- Working with Children check
- Current AHPRA Registration (no restriction)
- Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in Perioperative Nursing (Desirable)
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
- Excellent interpersonal and well-developed communication skills
- Be flexible and reliable at all times
