Screen Technician Trades Assistant
Location: Mackay – Town Mine site.
Hours: Various days and hours.

About Our Client: Our client is a recognised leader in mineral processing solutions, providing high-performance equipment and support to operations across the region. They specialise in delivering reliable, cost-effective products—including screening media, wear linings and processing equipment—designed to optimise plant efficiency and improve production outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out installation, repairs and routine maintenance on wash plant screens.
* Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
* Identify faults and perform timely corrective work to minimise downtime.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
* Previous experience as a trades assistant (mine site exposure preferred).
* Current Coal Board Medical certificate.
* Current Standard 11 (SOA) Confined Space Ticket (highly regarded).
* Working at heights Ticket (highly regarded).
* Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently.
Compensation: $45.43 per hour.
Work Conditions: Onsite mine work across various sites, town based. Monday to Friday (some weekends may be required).
