The Team
Join a dynamic team of 45 physiotherapy professionals, including a Manager, Deputy Managers, Clinical Leads, and both Senior and Junior Physiotherapists. Our services span three locations, providing exceptional care across acute, subacute, and community settings.

The Role
Provide and maintain optimal specialist inpatient physiotherapy services and support seamless transfer of care between weekdays and weekends.
Provide an expanded scope of care under a transdisciplinary model during weekends.
Assist patient flow and timely discharge through the provision of physiotherapy services to patients in ED and EMU wards, as well as admitted inpatients to NWRH.
Provide relief, where practicable, for other inpatient physiotherapy roles of any level, where staff may be on leave, or where the position is unfilled.
You will need
Provide evidence-driven patient-centred physiotherapy care, facilitating patient flow, discharge planning and preventing hospital re-admission.
Promote a learning culture supporting leadership and clinical supervision to physiotherapists, allied health assistants and undergraduate students.
Exercise independent professional judgement in the resolution of complex technical or critical professional problems.

Details of appointment
Fixed term, part time, shift worker position, working 49.4 hours per fortnight, commencing from 1 January **** until 17 May ****. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary
$110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Public Sector Union Wages Agreement No.2 of ****. Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.

Eligibility
Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
Registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
Current Driver's Licence (desirable).
