Great Lakes Womens Shelter – Op Shop Manager Opportunity
GLWS, a community organisation supporting women and children affected by domestic violence and homelessness, is opening an Op Shop in Forster-Tuncurry to raise funds and provide affordable goods to our community, while reducing landfill and waste in the Great Lakes.
Role: Op Shop Manager
Purpose: Lead store operations, support fundraising goals, and create a safe, welcoming space.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations, merchandising, and stock.
* Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers.
* Deliver excellent customer service.
* Drive sales and meet fundraising targets.
* Manage donated goods and finances accurately.
About You:
* Proven retail management/supervisory experience.
* Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
* Passion for GLWS mission and charity retail.
* Excellent customer service and communication.
* Organised, with cash-handling and POS experience.
* Current (or willingness to obtain) WWCC, Police Check, First Aid/CPR.
