We are currently seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join the team in Hope valley, where you will require at least 5 plus years' experience in a similar role.

An experienced production/Workshop Supervisor wanting to join a supportive and close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily workshop operations and production scheduling
* Supervise and lead welders, fabricators, and apprentices
* Interpret fabrication drawings and job specifications
* Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and Australian Standards
* Monitor quality, productivity, and job progress
* Manage materials, consumables, and workshop equipment
* Reduce rework, waste, and downtime
* Liaise with customers, project managers, engineers, and site teams
* Support training and development of apprentices
What you'll need to succeed
* Trade-qualified fabricator or boilermaker (essential)
* Proven experience in a workshop management or leading-hand role
* Proven experience in stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel fabrication
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication is required.
* Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and sheet metal processes
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Sound understanding of WHS and quality requirements
* Hands-on, practical, and solutions-focused approach
* Holder of various trade certificates
* General engineering and problem-solving ability
