Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.We are currently seeking a qualified Fitter Machinist to join our Manufacturing team located in Somersby, NSW.Responsibilities IncludeFabrication of machine parts from engineering drawingsOperation of manual lathes, milling machines and drill pressesLight fabrication and weldingAssembly of mechanical components and systems from engineering drawingsInstallation of motors and drive equipmentScheduled and unscheduled breakdown maintenanceInstallation of new machinery and decommissioning of old machineryTo Be Considered For This Position You WillBe a qualified and experienced tradespersonHave experience in machine trouble shooting, problem solving and fault finding (an advantage)Have excellent written and verbal communication skillsBe able to demonstrate experience in pneumatic and hydraulic equipment (an advantage)Possess the ability to work unsupervised or as part of a teamYour skills and work ethic will be rewarded with excellent working conditions and competitive terms and conditions of employment.This is a full-time permanent position within our Manufacturing team with a strong potential for career growth for the right applicant.
