Physiotherapist Role

We are seeking a skilled physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary health team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of older adults.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting assessments and delivering personalised physiotherapy services focused on mobility, strength, balance, and falls prevention. They will also support older adults through reablement, chronic condition management, and post-hospital recovery.

As a physiotherapist with us, you will have the security of a salaried position and the flexibility to provide services across settings, including clinic, group, and home. You will work collaboratively with nurses, OTs, carers, families, and GPs to support post-hospital recovery, chronic condition management, and active ageing.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct assessments and deliver personalised physiotherapy services focused on mobility, strength, balance, and falls prevention.
* Support older adults through reablement, chronic condition management, and post-hospital recovery.
* Develop practical, goal-oriented exercise and movement plans.
* Collaborate with nurses, OTs, carers, families, and GPs to support post-hospital recovery, chronic condition management, and active ageing.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist.
* Experience working with older adults, frailty, or complex physical health needs, including dementia and Parkinson's disease.
* Expertise in falls risk assessment, mobility aids, pain management, and safe manual handling.
* A warm, respectful, and person-centred approach to care.
* Ability to adapt physical interventions for cognitive, emotional, and sensory needs.
* Strong documentation and teamwork skills.
