Cancer Care Opportunity
The MaineHealth Cancer Care Network invites hematologists and oncologists to join our dynamic team in Sanford, Maine. This is a fantastic opportunity to practice comprehensive oncology and hematology care in a rapidly expanding environment.
Our growing Hematology-Oncology practice offers the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals, including pharmacists, nurse navigators, social workers, and palliative care providers. We have a well-equipped on-site infusion center and close collaboration with a network of shared services within MaineHealth Cancer Care.
We also have access to advanced tertiary care hematology services at MaineHealth Cancer Care and Maine Medical Center in Portland, the state's leading tertiary care hospital. Our full-time position includes 4 days of outpatient care and 1 day of administrative time. Call rotations are shared with partners, providing a manageable schedule.
In addition, we are planning to replace our current facilities with a state-of-the-art, comprehensive cancer center at Wells, ME, which will offer a range of support services. This new facility will become the preferred destination for oncology services in Southern Maine.
