Warehouse Operations Specialist

The Warehouse Operations Specialist plays a pivotal role in the efficient management of the warehouse area, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining a safe working environment.


Duties:

* Prioritize daily activities in the warehouse area, adhering to all relevant Health and Safety regulations.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy warehouse.
* Ensure the safe movement of vehicles within the warehouse area.
* Implement and maintain housekeeping processes to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
* Properly handle and store materials.
* Oversee site equipment, ensuring it is safe, operational, and securely stored.
* Manage deliveries, loading and unloading vehicles safely and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
* Assist in conducting regular safety inspections, documenting findings and distributing reports to relevant personnel.
* Coordinate logistics to optimize storage, preventing congestion in the warehouse.
* Report maintenance issues to stakeholders.
* Drive health and safety improvements and staff engagement.
* Address errors, discrepancies, and mistakes with management.


Key Requirements:

* Banksman training.
