We are currently seeking a Trainer & Assessor to deliver nationally recognised training programs aligned with the highest standards of compliance and industry relevance. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed electrician—particularly those with a background in solar or renewables—who is looking to transition into a meaningful education and training role.
The Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll deliver and assess accredited training across both online and hands-on settings. You’ll work directly with students, industry partners, and our internal team to ensure training meets the highest industry standards—especially in the solar and renewables sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and compliant training and assessment in accordance with VET standards
- Facilitate both classroom-based and hands-on practical sessions
- Assess student work in alignment with AQF requirements
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training content, particularly in the solar and renewables space
- Maintain compliance with RTO and ASQA standards
- Coordinate training schedules and student enrolments
- Provide support to online learners to ensure consistent learning outcomes
- Maintain current industry knowledge through ongoing professional development and relevant site-based experience
- Build and maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external industry stakeholders
Qualifications and Experience
- Hold a current and unrestricted Electrician’s Licence (essential)
- Possess a valid Queensland Driver’s Licence
- Completed Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820 or equivalent)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE40122 or TAE40116 (or be willing to obtain)
- SAA Accreditation in solar installation and design
