We are currently seeking a Trainer & Assessor to deliver nationally recognised training programs aligned with the highest standards of compliance and industry relevance. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed electrician—particularly those with a background in solar or renewables—who is looking to transition into a meaningful education and training role. The Role Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll deliver and assess accredited training across both online and hands-on settings. You’ll work directly with students, industry partners, and our internal team to ensure training meets the highest industry standards—especially in the solar and renewables sectors. Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and compliant training and assessment in accordance with VET standards Facilitate both classroom-based and hands-on practical sessions Assess student work in alignment with AQF requirements Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training content, particularly in the solar and renewables space Maintain compliance with RTO and ASQA standards Coordinate training schedules and student enrolments Provide support to online learners to ensure consistent learning outcomes Maintain current industry knowledge through ongoing professional development and relevant site-based experience Build and maintain productive relationships with internal teams and external industry stakeholders Qualifications and Experience Hold a current and unrestricted Electrician’s Licence (essential) Possess a valid Queensland Driver’s Licence Completed Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30820 or equivalent) Certificate IV in Training and Assessment – TAE40122 or TAE40116 (or be willing to obtain) SAA Accreditation in solar installation and design How to Apply Apply via the link, or share a CV to stephen@phillipriley.com.au We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
