About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Chemical Cleaning Specialist to join our team. As a Chemical Cleaning Specialist, you will be responsible for chemically cleaning castings prior to inspection and reworking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Cleaning Operations: You will prepare, operate, and maintain tanks used for chemical cleaning, ensuring all steps necessary for the application of fluorescent penetrant on castings.
* Etch Line Preparation: Test chemical baths, make corrections, and assure conformance to process control specifications.
* Process Documentation: Completes logs and records, including alkaline concentration, bath etch rates, chemical additions, and part lots.
* Maintenance and Housecleaning: Maintain equipment and work area in good working order.
* Safety Protocols: Take responsibility for and demonstrate safe work practices.
