Job Description
Full Time Aged Care Physiotherapists – Crookwell NSW Jasda Care (J. S. Riley Physiotherapy Pty Ltd) is a leading provider of aged care physiotherapy services. We are seeking a full time Aged Care Physiotherapists to be based in Crookwell NSW, with the right attitude and passion for working. We are seeking a full-time Physiotherapists to provide pain & mobility physio services to aged care residents.
We require applicants to have at least 9 to 10 years of work experience. Salary $80,000 AUD + Super. Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Pain management by exercise, massage & therapies, application of heat & cold and radiation therapies as required.
* Treatments to improve joint mobility, reduce paid, blood circulation, muscle.
* strengthening, better functionality, and general mobility and functionality
* Document the treatment and follow up process.
* Conduct a thorough clinical assessment for each resident as per facility requirements.
* Develop individually tailored assessment and care plans, selecting and executing appropriate physiotherapy treatment.
* Consult with the appropriate staff, carers, medical practitioners and family members in the best interests of the residents.
* Review all residents, at a minimum interval of three months or as per individual facility requirements.
* Educate, Mentor, Supervise, train Junior colleagues.
* Provide strength, prevention & Balance training.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy
* AHPRA Registration to work as a Physiotherapist
Experience Requirement:
* Minimum 9 to 10 years of experience working as a Physiotherapist
Essential Skills and Requirements:
* Positive can-do attitude
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
* Passionate about aged care with proven experience (preferred)
* Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge is essential
