Job Description

The opportunity

We are currently looking for an experienced Geology Superintendent to join the team at our Duketon operation.

As a key member of our site leadership team, you'll take ownership of all geological activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality ore extraction. Working closely with the mining contractor and internal stakeholders, you'll play a vital role in driving production outcomes through accurate geological modelling, strong planning, and effective team leadership.

This is a FIFO role (8:6 roster) fromPerth.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and oversee all geological activities across the mining operation
* Partner with the mining contractor to maintain the highest standards of ore extraction
* Support planned production by delivering accurate, predictive geological models and timely technical information
* Develop and implement geological strategies, priorities, programs, forecasts, and budgets
* Planning and execution of grade control and near-mine exploration programs
* Maintain accurate and auditable geological data, including reconciliation, geotechnical, and grade control information
* Ensure all geological data, resources, reserves, and technical reports meet company and compliance standards
* Manage geological budgets and ensure activities align with agreed plans and priorities
* Lead, mentor, and motivate geological and administrative team members
* Provide technical advice and support across other departments as required
* Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly geological reports
* Develop annual and project-specific geological budgets
* Grade Control and haulage contractor management

About You

* A bachelor's degree in Geology or Geoscience
* Strong background in Open Pit Mine Geology and production environments
* Strong senior-level leadership and team management experience
* Demonstrated experience in supervising and developing technical teams
* Fostering a safety culture that ensures safety remains a priority
* Proficiency with mining and geological software such as Surpac, Leapfrog, Datamine or similar
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft office applications
* A leadership style that is aligned to Regis core values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Ownership and Courage
* Completed WHS statutory supervisors risk management units and meet the applicable WA legislative requirements
