About The Role
We are looking for a Purchasing Clerk to join our Purchasing team in the Procurement & Supply department in Newcastle.
We are looking for a strong team player to join our tight-knit Procurement & Supply department.
A keen eye for detail is a must as well as the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal departments across our mining operations.
This is a full time permanent role based in our Newcastle office.
What You'll Do
Converting approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders
Supporting the procurement team with administrative tasks & working closely with the accounts payable team
Reporting, shared inbox management and other admin functions
Onboarding and vendor management
Stakeholder engagement & providing an excellent level of customer service
What You'll Bring
Relevant purchasing or procurement experience within a large organisation
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
SAP and/or Pulse Mining ERP experience will be highly regarded
