BJ Safety Supplies is part of the ARA Group and was established in 1986 and therefore boasts many years of experience in clothing, footwear, PPE, height safety, signage and other related products. The business also provides additional services such as advice on site requirements, maintenance of first aid kits and a comprehensive guidance of branding options including embroidery/screen printing etc.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing goods, data entry, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a well-organised warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing Goods: Check incoming goods against invoices and inspect them to ensure they are free of damage. Unload delivery trucks and unpack packages.
* Data Entry: Input all invoices and delivery dockets into MYOB Advance accurately and efficiently.
* Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders, collect products and prepare them for dispatch. Fold and allocate clothing to the correct orders.
* Inventory Management: Sort items and place them in the correct location on shelves or part-picked orders. Maintain accurate inventory records.
* Documentation: Interpret and process warehouse documentation, such as shipping invoices and packing lists.
* Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy work area. Ensure compliance with safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements:
* Sound knowledge of MYOB.
* Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision and guidance.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to interpret and process warehouse documentation.
* Physical ability to unload delivery trucks and handle packages.
* Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised workspace.
