The Role: Quote, Convert, and Drive Profit
You will be responsible for managing all inbound, qualified sales opportunities. Your core focus will be on efficiently converting these leads into confirmed projects by providing prompt, accurate, and competitive quotes. We are looking for someone who enjoys the thrill of making a profitable deal.
Key Responsibilities
* Quoting: Preparation of detailed, competitive, and profitable quotes for demolition and related services, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards.
* Sales Conversion: Proactively follow up on quotes, negotiate terms, and successfully convert leads into signed contracts and executed work.
* Data Management: Utilise MS Excel for cost analysis and quote tracking, and MS Word for professional correspondence and contract drafting.
* Initiative: Take independent ownership of the sales pipeline, constantly looking for ways to streamline the process and improve conversion rates.
What You Bring (Essential Requirements)
* Proven Sales Track Record: A minimum of 3+ years of successful experience in a B2B or B2C sales role, preferably within the construction or related heavy industry.
* Quoting Competency: Demonstrable ability to understand scope of works, and accurately calculate costs and generate quotes for projects.
* Software Proficiency (Must Have): Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel (for detailed cost breakdowns and calculations) and Word (for professional documentation).
* Work Ethic: High degree of initiative and highly motivated to meet and exceed sales targets.
* Industry Knowledge (Desirable): Practical experience or knowledge within the demolition, construction, earthmoving, or civil industries is a significant advantage.
* Drive: Excellent verbal communication, negotiation skills, and a strong commercial acumen focused on profit.
