As the Crushing Plant Manager for Rostrevor Group, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the company's crushing plant.
This is a full-time, onsite role based in Melbourne, VIC.
What you'll be doing
Manage the day-to-day operations of the crushing plant, ensuring production targets and quality standards are consistently met
Develop and implement strategies to optimise plant efficiency, productivity, and safety
Monitor and analyse plant performance data to identify areas for improvement
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of plant operators and maintenance personnel
Manage plant maintenance and repair schedules to minimise downtime
Ensure the plant operates in compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate logistics and support broader business objectives
What we're looking for
Extensive experience (7+ years) in a similar crushing plant management role within the mining, resources, or construction materials industry
Strong technical knowledge of crushing plant operations, equipment, and maintenance
Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and optimisation of plant performance
Excellent leadership, people management, and team-building skills
Commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, operations management, or a related field
