About Us
South City Panels, located in South Geelong, is a spacious and modern workshop that handles small to large-scale repairs. Our dedicated team of 17 professionals works in a well-equipped environment featuring two spray booths with extractors and a Car-O-Liner 3D measuring system. We offer ample off-street parking, flexible work hours, and above-award wages for the right candidate.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Apprentice Panel Beater to join our growing team
This is a great opportunity to continue your apprenticeship in a supportive, well-equipped workshop alongside experienced technicians. You'll further develop your skills while helping restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition using a variety of repair techniques.
This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available.
What You'll Do
* Disassemble vehicles and label parts for storage
* Note any damaged or broken parts and report them to the Estimator
* Check all replacement parts for accuracy and damage
* Perform repairs according to the Repair Method and Job Sheet
* Reassemble vehicles to the specified requirements
What We're Looking For
* Currently undertaking a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year apprenticeship in panel beating
* A genuine interest in the automotive industry
* A positive attitude and eagerness to continue learning
* Reliability and strong attention to detail
