ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Code Consultant or Accredited Certifier to step into a well-established, industry-leading consultancy. Based in Liverpool, you'll be responsible for delivering professional building code compliance services across a wide range of commercial, residential and industrial projects.
You'll work closely with clients, project teams and internal specialists to ensure high-quality compliance outcomes, while enjoying autonomy and genuine long-term growth opportunities within a collaborative team.

DUTIES
* Undertake day-to-day functions as an Accredited Certifier and Principal Certifying Authority
* Assess and issue Complying Development Certificates and Part 4A Certificates under the EP&A Act and Regulations
* Prepare inspection reports and BCA assessments for various building classes
* Provide clear, expert advice to clients across written and verbal channels
* Liaise with Fire & Rescue NSW and fire safety engineers on performance-based solutions
* Assist with fee proposals and contribute to business growth initiatives
* Conduct building audits and ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards
ABOUT YOU
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Building Regulations Consultant or Accredited Certifier (Local Government or Private Sector)
* Registration as an Accredited Building Certifier (A2 or A3 preferred) or eligibility to obtain
* Comprehensive understanding of the EP&A Act, Regulations, and BCA Volumes 1 & 2
* Proven experience across a mix of Class 2–9 projects
* Strong attention to detail, communication and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; Bluebeam and BCS experience highly regarded
* Must have full working rights in Australia
