Work Location: The RMH Parkville (City campus). The Royal Melbourne Hospital is one of Australia's leading public healthcare providers. We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join The Royal Melbourne Hospital as an Engineering Services Plumber.
Full Time Ongoing position. Generous 5 weeks Annual Leave per year plus fortnightly RDO. Salary packaging, onsite parking, close to public transport.
Responsibilities
* Oversee a wide range of engineering activities, including maintenance, repairs, renovations, and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Provide resource knowledge to support capital project programs.
* Ensure all plumbing tasks are completed effectively and in a timely manner to support the hospital's mission of providing high-quality healthcare services.
Qualifications
* Trade qualification: Registered/Licensed Plumber; Licenced preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering services or related commercial plumbing position, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
* Strong technical expertise in plumbing and building systems, with knowledge of healthcare facility requirements and regulations.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, and standards governing healthcare facility engineering and safety.
* Current driver's license valid for Australia.
