Job Description
Recruitment Innovations Pty Ltd are currently seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Plasterer to join our team in Seymour VIC. The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
* Decide plasterboard layout and install insulation and vapour barriers.
* Measure, mark and cut plasterboard, position and secure panels to walls, ceilings and battens
* Create corner beads and secure them in position
* Cover joins and nail holes with wet plaster and sealing compounds, and smooth them using wet brush and sandpaper
* Plumb and straighten angles, corners, ceiling and wall surfaces
* Apply and finish acoustic, fireproofing and insulating materials bonded with plaster, plastic cement and similar materials
Skills and Abilities:
* Must have a minimum of three years' experience as a qualified Plasterer or equivalent
* Certificate (III) in Plastering or relevant
* Ability to work in a team environment
