Description and Requirements
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Developing & maintaining a key account plan detailing customer's organisation, key contacts, business model, distribution, channels, pricing conventions, competitive environments etc
* Developing & update/maintaining a strategy within the account plan to maximise the sales of Motorola handsets & accessories within the assigned customer, including proactively seeking-out opportunities for ranging on consumer & business subsidised programs, outright sales range, upgrade/retention & new acquisition initiatives.
* Increase product sales revenue by promoting Motorola products and delivering exceptional service to all partners.
* Manage and coordinate all aspects of the engagement between Motorola & Telstra (sales, marketing, service, technical, training, support), acting as the primary contact for Motorola
* Maintaining regular cadence with key customer contacts, facilitate product presentations, manage sell-in, stock planning/forecasting & stock management.
Position Requirements:
* Tertiary qualified
* Ability to work autonomously
* Proven time management and business planning skills.
* Previous experience working within a sales channel management process in Telecommunications industry in Australia
* Strong Sales and Marketing experience.
* Proven experience in developing and maintaining strong account plans and relationships with channel partners
* Demonstrated clear and strong presentation skills.
* Strong people skills and project a positive outgoing manner.
* Proven track record in achieving sales and sales targets
* Intermediate to advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
* Current drivers license and ability to travel
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
