As NPD Administration Coordinator you'll be responsible for menu management & nutritional information. In close collaboration with the Culinary, Marketing & QA team, you will be supporting the NPD Manager in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives at our Keysborough (VIC, 3173) site.
**Your Role**:
1. **Product Conceptualisation**
- Engage in collaborative efforts with cross-functional teams to conceptualise novel food products, prioritising nutrition and health.
- Generate inventive ideas for meals, taking into account dietary needs and current wellness trends.
**2. Menu Management & Development**
- Partner closely with the culinary team to define nutritional parameters for menus.
- Verify menu items align with nutritional guidelines and health standards.
- Coordinate menu planning across various stakeholders.
- Ensure that weekly menu uploads on the website are accurate.
- Manage master files and ensure data accuracy.
- Develop, update, and maintain internal and external spec sheets.
**3. Nutritional Analysis**:
- Perform nutritional analyses for both new and existing products.
- Offer insights on meal nutritional content and provide recommendations for enhancement.
**4. Collaboration with NPD Team**
- Work collaboratively with the New Product Development (NPD) teams to incorporate nutritional aspects into product design.
- Manage label creation from concept to print, closely collaborating with the NPD Manager.
- Collaborate with chefs and food scientists to translate nutritional requirements into viable recipes.
**5. Quality Assurance**
- Implement and uphold quality assurance protocols for nutritional standards.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and nutritional labelling requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Strong food understanding & nutritional knowledge
- Strong admin & organisational skills
- FSANZ knowledge
- Proficiency with G-Suite and nutritional programs like FoodWorks
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail
- Clear and effective communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability and agility to adapt to evolving scenarios
- Experience in interacting with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Food science and/or culinary experience preferred
