How You'll Help Us Grow
* Ensure that required work has appropriate Permit to Work (PTW), Job Safety & Environmental Analysis (JSEA), Take 5, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Management of Change (MOC)
* Perform duties and work assigned on daily schedule to a high standard in 5S, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
* Work will include machining, piping/ equipment installation, centrifugal and air diaphragm pump overhauls, dry break coupling overhauls, mechanical seal overhauls, valve/ gearbox overhauls, pump alignment, PVC piping.
* Take ownership of workload and through communication with supervisor and complete maintenance jobs ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Contribute to a culture of continual improvement by participating/practising 5S, toolbox meetings or investigations to improve equipment reliability.
* Maintain records of equipment spares and repairs undertaken using Maintenance software.
* Prepare pre‐work pack before commencing work, e.g., scoping, JSEA preparation, job checklists etc. to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
* Ensure the workshops are kept to a high standard of housekeeping and perform 5S audits.
Could This Be You?
You're a qualified and experienced Mechanical/Maintenance Fitter with demonstrated experience in the Chemical industry or similar (DG Goods/Schedule 14). You're a problem solver who has a commitment to continuous improvement activities while being safety conscious and you're well versed in appropriate safety standards.
