About this position
With a range of programs including Les Mills, Pilates and Aqua classes across mornings, evenings and weekends, Leisure World is now seeking passionate and reliable Group Fitness Instructors to join our customer-focused team on a casual basis.
We currently have immediate casual vacancies for Aqua‐certified instructors and also welcome applications from all qualified Group Fitness Instructors for our casual pool.
What we are looking for
Our instructors are responsible for planning, choreographing and delivering safe, engaging and energising exercise classes for a diverse range of participants. Key responsibilities include:
* Providing safe, effective classes that cater to varying fitness levels and abilities
* Demonstrating correct technique and offering appropriate modifications
* Motivating and connecting with participants to create a positive experience
* Ensuring equipment is used safely
* Contributing to a friendly, inclusive environment through clear communication and a strong community focus
* National Police Clearance
* Working with Children Check
* First Aid and CPR qualifications
* Group Fitness Instructor qualification OR Certificate III in Fitness
* AUSactive registration
