A Central NSW hospital requires Senior Medical Officer in General Practice for the following date(s). Shift(s) details as below: from 11/08/2025 07:30 to 17/08/2025 18:00 at $2300 per day ED/Ward Nights Face-to-face clinical handover with night doctor at 0730 – 0800 and 1730 – 1800 in the Emergency Department. Daily inpatient ward rounds from 0800-0930. Document daily ward rounds, provide medical care to inpatients, complete discharge summaries and review admitted patients as requested. Provide onsite medical care to patients presenting to the emergency department. Provide medical care to admitted postoperative patients. Complete contemporaneous and comprehensive clinical documentation in eMR. Provide and lead clinical review, rapid response, trauma and cardiac arrest services across the facility. Check pathology and radiology results in the ED results message centre ordered by any doctor, follow-up and document management plans for any results needed further action and review any patients returning for follow-up of results. Provide surgical assistance in theatre when required. Participate in the training and supervision of students, junior medical officers and registrars.
