Support Professional
The role of a Support Professional involves delivering high-quality assistance to individuals requiring daily personal care under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This position requires assisting people with complex health needs and significant functional impairments, ensuring their safety, dignity, and independence while following approved care plans and clinical direction.
As a Support Professional, you will report directly to a Team Leader for direction, escalation, and performance oversight. You will work collaboratively with participants, families, and allied health professionals, maintaining accurate documentation and strictly adhering to incident and risk management protocols.
This role necessitates a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent qualification, along with additional training in High Intensity Supports aligned with NDIS Commission requirements. Substantial experience in disability or community care, particularly with complex health needs, is highly desirable.
To succeed in this position, you must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Mandatory qualifications include Current First Aid, CPR, NDIS Worker Screening, and any specialized HIDPA competency training.
