Duties
* Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSF.
* Knowledge of Australian Tax Law, SIS Act and compliance.
* Preparation of business activity statements.
* Preparation of income tax returns for individuals.
* Exposure to a variety of tax matters including GST, CGT, FBT and Div7a.
* Tax Planning & dealing with key tax issues.
* Maintaining clients' asset register, adjusting journals and reconciliations.
* Working on large corporates, SMEs and large family groups.
* Liaising heavily with clients & external agencies.
Qualifications
Minimum Degree Qualified
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
* Ideally 2+ years experience in a similar role.
* Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks Experience.
* Sage Handisoft (well regarded).
* Advanced Excel skills with experience in Microsoft Office suite.
* BGL362.
