The Client
KfoodInternational Pty Ltd is located in Aitkenvale in QLD is a popular retail business dealing with consumer retail goods. They require a full time Retail Supervisor to join their team.
The Role
This role is a full time position with an annual salary set between $75,000 to $80,000 depending on experience plus superannuation. The role is based in Aitkenvale in QLD.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate daily retail store operations to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
* Manage and support retail staff, including rostering, performance monitoring, and training.
* Oversee stock control, including ordering, receiving, and merchandising of consumer retail goods.
* Ensure product displays are attractive, accurate, and aligned with company standards.
* Monitor sales performance, identify trends, and support management in achieving sales targets.
* Resolve customer enquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner.
* Implement and maintain workplace health and safety policies across all retail operations.
* Oversee cash handling procedures, including POS operations, end-of-day reconciliation, and banking.
* Assist in promotional activities, marketing campaigns, and in-store events to increase customer engagement.
* Conduct regular stocktakes, audits, and inventory reporting to minimise shrinkage and wastage.
* Maintain compliance with company policies, licensing requirements, and retail regulations.
* Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams to coordinate timely delivery of goods.
* Prepare and submit operational reports to management regarding sales, staffing, and store performance.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and store efficiency
* Overseeing and management of retail inventory records and stock levels for all retail operation
* Recruiting, training and retaining team members to create a fun, collaborative and success focused culture
* Mentoring and developing the team in providing amazing customer experiences
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience supervising retail operations in a high-volume consumer goods environment
* Minimum 3 years' experience managing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation
* Minimum 3 years' experience in inventory management, stock control, and supplier coordination.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in sales reporting, KPI monitoring, and driving store performance
* Minimum 3 years' experience ensuring compliance with WHS standards, cash handling procedures, and retail regulations.
* Minimum 3 years' experience delivering outstanding customer service and handling escalated complaints effectively
* Ability to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitement
* Good time management and attention to detail
* Speaking Korean is preferable for effective communication with the suppliers
