Riverhouse Café is looking for an experienced Chef / Cook to join our close team.
This is a casual 5-day per week role, hours with potential to go on a full time contract for the right person.
The Details:
* Hours: 6:30am – 2:30pm
* 5 days per week
* Must be available weekends
* No nights
* No split shifts
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking a variety of cafe-style meals, including creating weekly specials
* Ensuring all food is presented beautifully and in a timely manner
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
* Communicating with the front of house girls to effectively work as a team
* Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Listening to front of house girls latest life issues
What we're looking for
* Experience as a Cafe Cook or Chef, preferably in a similar cafe environment
* Demonstrated expertise in preparing a range of cafe-style dishes, from breakfast to lunch
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food quality standards
* Excellent time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
* Relevant food handling and safety certifications
