About the role
In your new role as a plumber at the Baiada Processing Plant, you will support the team in :
* Perform routine plumbing maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on plant systems and equipment.
* Ensure all plumbing systems operate efficiently and safely to minimise downtime.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns and carry out preventive maintenance.
* Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operation of water and waste systems.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and update maintenance management systems.
* Assist with installation of new plumbing systems and plant upgrades.
* Always follow Baiada's safety procedures and policies.
About you
To succeed in this role, you will bring :
* Australian trade qualification as a Plumber.
* Proven experience in both preventative and reactive plumbing maintenance.
* Strong skills in pipe fitting, repairs, and installation.
* Proficiency with maintenance management systems and plumbing tools.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing faults.
* Effective communication skills for liaising with team members and reporting issues.
* Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
