Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Health Safety Environment Quality (HSEQ) Manager, based in the Macedon Ranges. The HSEQ Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health, safety, environment, and quality systems. Core tasks will involve conducting risk assessments, ensuring compliance with regulations, training staff on safety protocols, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. They will also manage audits, report on safety performance metrics, and foster a culture of care and responsibility within the organization.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in health, safety, and environmental regulation compliance, along with experience in conducting risk assessments and hazard identification.
* Strong expertise in developing and implementing quality management systems and conducting internal and external audits.
* Effective communication, training, and leadership skills to promote safety and quality culture across teams.
* Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and an excellent ability to analyze and interpret data related to safety performance and quality control.
* Relevant certifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, or Quality Assurance.
* Familiarity with the construction or civil engineering industry is advantageous.
* Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills to balance multiple responsibilities effectively.
