As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning and directing the daily operations of the service centre to achieve sales targets, on-time delivery, and profit goals.
The Role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and direct daily operations to achieve sales targets, on-time delivery, and profit goals.
* Liaise with management, staff, customers, suppliers, and national office.
* Ensure compliance with WHS and environment policies and procedures.
* Assist with counter service.
* Monitor and direct the daily operation of the hose service centre.
* Provide technical advice and guidance to staff and customers.
* Implement, monitor, and review training and development plans.
* Act to improve safety performance of all staff.
You:
Requirements:
* Occupational regulatory licenses.
* Trade certificate.
* Ability to build a high-performing team who can operate efficiently, effectively, productively, and cost-effectively.
* People management experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a demanding and customer-focused work environment.
* Personal organisation and business administration skills.
* Ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and drive under tight deadlines and pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
* Anticipate problems and find solutions.

* Familiarity with equipment used in industry.
