Salary: MD-2 $243,212 - $320,467 per annum (pro rata) plus super and salary packaging. Temporary position up to 12 months, part-time 15 hours per week.

About the Role

As a Consultant Cardiologist, you shape high-quality heart failure care within a leading tertiary service. You manage complex patients, build robust clinical partnerships and help grow best-practice models of care.

You also support research, teaching and the next generation of clinicians.

Duties:

• Deliver protected, expert heart failure care
• Design and improve patient-centered services
• Supervise and support trainee medical officers
• Partner with nursing, allied health and admin teams
• Lead teaching, training and research activity
• Link with community providers and educators

About You

You are a specialist cardiologist who brings strong clinical judgement, teamwork and a genuine drive to improve heart failure care, research and training.

• MBBS or equivalent with AHPRA specialist registration
• Advanced cardiology practice, including heart failure care
• Lead and support research, teaching and trainee supervision
• Work well across multidisciplinary and diverse teams
• Commit to quality improvement and ongoing qualified growth
