Account Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and capable Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing existing accounts and winning new business within your assigned portfolio/territory.
* Manage and grow the existing customer base
* Identify and convert new sales opportunities aligned with business sales plans
* Conduct regular cold calling throughout assigned territory, increasing awareness of our product range and establishing yourself as the lead point of contact
* Build and strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers, attending customer events, trade shows, and conferences
* Prepare quotes for hire and support tender submissions
* Communicate effectively with branch team to support sales activity and ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
Desired Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Sales experience in hire/capital equipment/industrial or related industry
* Ability and willingness to cold call, in person and by phone
* Record of success in attracting and retaining new business
* Capacity to work safely and autonomously in the field
* Resilience and the ability to overcome obstacles and find solutions
