, this is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
About The Role
As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting surgical admissions and ensuring smooth, efficient patient care operations. Your contributions will directly enhance the patient experience and help maintain the high standards of Wyong Hospital. In this role you will:
Provide comprehensive administrative support including referrals, appointment bookings, records management, and payroll data entry.
Serve as the friendly first point of contact, delivering excellent customer service and responding to enquiries promptly.
Manage patient data entry and maintain accurate computerised patient management systems.
Facilitate office efficiency by improving administrative systems and procedures.
Collaborate across departments to achieve seamless operations.
