About the Role
The People & Culture Lead plays a key role in shaping an engaged, connected, and high-performing workforce at Pinpoint. In this role, you will partner with leaders and employees across the business to deliver people initiatives that align with our strategic framework, strengthen our culture, and enhance every stage of the employee lifecycle.
You'll provide trusted advice on people matters, lead capability and performance initiatives, and support programs that improve employee experience, wellbeing, and organisational effectiveness. This is an excellent opportunity for a People & Culture professional looking to utilise their skills in leadership coaching, talent development, and strategic recruitment within a growing, people-centric consultancy.
Experience within a professional services business and a dynamic, evolving work environment will be highly advantageous. We offer a hybrid working environment, with at least three days working from our Melbourne office.
Responsibilities
As the People and Culture Lead at Pinpoint HRM, your role will encompass:
* Employee life cycle: Oversee all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, probation, performance management, learning, development and offboarding to ensure a consistent and positive employee experience.
* Talent Pooling: Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of Project Managers, Business Analysts and Consultants to support Pinpoint's On-demand client-side services and workforce planning needs.
* Performance, Learning & Development: Support the ongoing development of a high-performing workforce by coordinating performance processes, strengthening capability across the business, and assisting leaders with goal setting, feedback, and career development conversations.
* Employee Recognition & Wellbeing: Develop and manage recognition and wellbeing initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction, engagement, performance and workplace experience.
* Culture & Connection: Drive initiatives that foster connection, reinforce Pinpoint's EVP, and strengthen workplace culture across regions and practices.
* Leader Support: Provide guidance and advice to leaders on people management, team dynamics, performance conversations and proactive people practices.
* Employee Relations: Partner with leaders to navigate employee relations matters, ensuring compliance with Australian workplace legislation and local employee regulations to promote fair, timely, and consistent outcomes.
About you
* Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management or equivalent years experience
* 5+ years working in a People & Culture capacity with strong experience in organisational development and strategic recruitment
* Understanding of Australian P&C practices and legislation
* Experience and confidence in advising and mentoring leaders through all aspects of the employee lifecycle
* Experience in building resource pipelines and sub-contractor talent pools
* Demonstrated capability to drive a cultural agenda around the hybrid working environment
* Ability to work autonomously and use initiative
* Excellent communication (written & verbal) and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail
* High level of digital literacy plus comfort with social media channels and platforms
* Multitasking and prioritisation abilities essential – ability to wear many hats!
