Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional with a passion for real estate and client service? We’re seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join our Property Management Accounting Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse portfolio, deliver high-quality financial reporting, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
The Opportunity
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including balance sheets, P&L; analysis, and variance commentaries.
- Prepare journal entries and manage outgoings reconciliations, budgets, and wash-ups across a portfolio of assets.
- Act as a subject matter expert for financial reporting matters.
- Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Support audits, system enhancements, and new asset transitions.
- Assist the Portfolio Director with portfolio analysis and client-related projects.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA/CA qualification (or currently studying towards it) preferred.
- Proficiency in MRI/Yardi property accounting platforms.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
