Role Description
This is a full or part time hybrid role in Orange, NSW, for an NDIS Support Coordinator. The role involves assisting participants in navigating the NDIS framework, coordinating services, and ensuring they have access to the supports needed to achieve their goals. Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing participant plans, liaising with service providers, monitoring progress, and advocating on behalf of participants to ensure their individual needs are met. The role also requires maintaining accurate documentation and delivering high-quality customer service.
Qualifications
* Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills, including empathy, active listening, and the ability to build positive relationships with participants and stakeholders
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Support Coordinator in the sector
* Proficiency in Case Management and coordination, including experience with creating and implementing individualised support plans
* Customer Service expertise, with a proactive approach to solving participant concerns and ensuring satisfaction
* Basic Technical Support skills to assist participants in navigating digital tools and systems
* Relevant qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Disability Support, or a related field are highly desirable
* Knowledge and understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and related support systems is advantageous
* Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively
* Valid Australian driver's license and a satisfactory Working with Children Check and police check
