Company Description
Remtron is a leading provider of Automation, Process Control and IT-related products. With extensive knowledge, experience and resources, we deliver cost-effective, results-driven solutions across a wide range of industries.
Our focus on client satisfaction drives us to partner with market-leading vendors, ensuring our customers receive the highest-quality products, technical support and service.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Professional to join our Newcastle Branch.
In this role, you will work closely with our superior automation and process control product lines, engaging with OEMs, manufacturers, contractors and consultants. You will be responsible for driving growth in the region through a mix of account management and proactive business development.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in your territory
Identifying new business opportunities and expanding our market presence
Promoting our product range and providing technical support where required
Working collaboratively with internal teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes
This role is field-based rather than office-bound. You will need to be self-motivated, well-organised and confident working independently while representing Remtron professionally.
Travel throughout regional NSW will be required for this field-based position.
The Candidate
You may already be an industry professional, or you may be an electrical specialist looking to stay technically challenged while stepping into a new career path. We are also keen to speak with newly qualified candidates who are enthusiastic, driven and ready to launch their career in sales.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about building relationships, curious about technology, and excited by the challenge of creating solutions that add real value for customers.
Ideally, you will bring:
A proven track record in B2B sales
A minimum of 3-5 years B2B sales experience
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders
A proactive "hunter" mindset, capable of generating new business from both existing accounts and new opportunities
Technical knowledge of automation, drives, sensors or related products (highly regarded)
Experience selling to contractors, OEMs and end users (preferred)
Excellent time management, planning and organisational skills
An eagerness to learn and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
This role suits someone who enjoys working independently while still being part of a supportive and collaborative team. You'll have the freedom to manage your territory, backed by a strong internal network ready to help you succeed.
